Comments about 10-in Portable Table Saw with Stand:

Great product. Very easy to use. Purchased after speaking with a contractor who uses the exact model. Very safe.

I don't consider it a con, however, the spreader feature is cumbersome. You have to really manipulate the material to get around the spreader, therefore, I found it better to just remove it. This appears to be a common problem with all table saws.

Comments about 10-in Portable Table Saw with Stand:

I'm no professional, just a beginner. This is my first table saw to own so i can't compare, but i have had a positive outcome so far since i've owned it. I did a little research and for the budget this is the saw that i chose. I own other Ryobi tools as well and have had good luck with them so i figured why not another Ryobi power tool? The saw seems to have plenty of power for any task. It comes with a sharp blade, which is a plus. The design as well as the safety features put in a good note for any worker. The stand that came with it is pretty sturdy, but i recommend checking the tightness every once in a while due to the vibration of the saw and optional transportation. Being a refurb, it's just like new, but with a little wear. That's normal though. The only negative is it seems a little heavy, but i'm sure not as heavy as other models i've seen. I'm glad i got this while i did. It makes projects a lot easier. Overall, for the price and quality i recommend.

Comments about 10-in Portable Table Saw with Stand:

I've been a Carpenter for 20+ years, rough and finish. Setting up a full wood shop for making furniture, etc...So had alot of tools to buy and I'm not a millionaire, didn't go get a loan but used my OWN cash. After much research into reconditioned tools, many of my, "NEW" tools are
reconditioned! You see I thought, "USED" and some parts replaced and sent out to us. The tools are disassembled, cleaned, needed parts replaced with new. THEN every tool goes through a multi-point checklist and tested to factory specs then ran if it meets the original running specs then it is for sale! They CHECK every one by trained professionals, unlike the factory which what? May check 1 out of every 1,000.
I will continue to buy reconditioned tools if I can from CPO! Thank you for many great deals CPO.

              A:

This is from the manual for this saw:
DO NOT install dado blades on this machine.
The arbor shaft has insufficient threads to mount a dado blade. Mounting a dado blade could result in the risk of serious personal injury.
