I use this for high hedges. It has nice power with good balance when angled. So far I like the way it holds a charge. Charge it overnight and your ready to go. It arrived packaged perfectly and on time. dok
First product had a frozen button stopping movement up and down of the shaft/cutter bar. A call to Customer Service and in 5 minutes I had a Return Authorization and list of three sites for free return shipping. A new , and fully funtional tool arrived in less then 48 hours. It is terrific.I am able to trim 50% off my work time vs. earllier B&D.
expect poor customer service.a volume seller who doesnt consider you a valued customer!
If you have any bushes to trim, this is the way to do it. I've used a Gas trimmer for years, and will sell it as soon as I can. This product is the best, and it helps with any taller bushes/shrubs. The battery lasts for a couple hours of heavy duty trimming, and is almost as powerful at the end of the 2 hours as the beginning. They hit the mark on this design. Hope it lasts!!
The tilt function is handy for trimming high bushes. The only drawback I have seen so far is that the plastic guard is a cheap plastic, should be sturdier.
I bought this as a refurbished unit. The first one I got was received with the guard snapped off.
I think the battery should last longer, I minimized its use by using a corded unit for everything I could reach with that one's 16 inch blade. I found this unit very handy, however, for topping off tall bushes.
