the attachments are more than you need but nice to have (really won't use them)

Blower performed well. Plenty of power and starts easily as long as you follow the instuctions. Only problem I encountered, the viberation caused the blower tubes to come unlocked and fall off. Taped with duct tape and resolved the problem.

In the past I've used blowers from Craftsmen (the worst, never buy again), Homelite Zip-Start (very good)and Troy-bilt (also very good). The Ryobi was a little more difficult start than the Homelite and Troy-Bilt but is worked great. I really loved the two types of blower attachments. One was a full port and the other a slit-port. Light weight with plenty of power. It gets my full recommendation.

JUST RECEIVED A RECONDITIONED RYOBI BLOWER/VACUUM. THE UNIT LEAKS AROUND THE BLOWER SEAM. THE VACUUM TUBE IS SO FLIMSY THAT YOU JUST TOUCH THE GROUND AND IT FALLS OFF. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNIT.

As a blower you can't beat it. As a mulcher, forget it. The exhaust blows in your face which is bad but the worst feature is the vac tube. It is cheaply constructed and will fall off it you look at it wrong let alone touch it to the ground. This is my second year of using it and as long as you are very very, very careful not to touch anything with it, the tube will stay on. Then as long as you can stand the exhaust in your face it will work just fine.
Don't buy this for the vac/mulcher feature, you'll be disappointed.

I use the blower for clearing the driveway, sidewalks, and patio of leaves, grass clippings, etc. It works great for those tasks. Easy to start. I like that it has a run/kill switch that is automatically stays in the run mode unless it is held down to stop the engine.

could never tell it was recondtioned. but, atleast you know it works before you get it and the problems are not present. You know when you buy a new one you sometimes have to get the bugs out. Its ready to use. A very excellent buy if you are looking for something to use around the house. Can't get a better deal. The mulching has a better ratio than other blowers. Glad I got mine.

I have been wanting a gas powered blower and this seemed to be a really good deal so I bought it as a Father's Day gift to myself. It arrived quickly though it did not come with all the things listed in the "includes" section but that was really just a minor inconvenience though a bit frustrating as I expect things to be as advertised. Got the unit together and got it ready to use on the next lawn day. The unit appears to start easily enough and runs well and blows grass clippings around very easily. The only "issue" at this point, and why I didn't rate higher, is that even though it only gets used about 10 minutes the blower smelled very hot when I was done using it. I thought, no biggie, maybe just getting worn back in. After three uses it still smells like it is very warm such as "cylander" too tight? I will use it and see if it goes away after a few hours of use[...] If it works itself out, I am very pleased and feel it is was a very good deal. If not....

A must for any homeowner. Great for cleaning off the driveway, walk and yard of leaves, grass clippings and any other debries. The vaccum feature is also great for cleaning the leaves up in any beds in the yard. Easy to use and certainly a heck of a lot easier and faster than using an electric blower.

I now own this quality rebuilt Ryobi and found it to be what I needed. It's a little under powered and a bit noisy, but highly reliable for my use. The machine needed a carburator adjustment, half an hour after starting. I took it to a Ryobi service and the technician said that the machines need the adjustment in Massachusetts because we get gas with ethanol and the factory prepares them for regular gas.

Clean and ready out of the box. Put in fresh fuel and it fired up after 3 or 4 pulls. Ran smoothly and had plenty of air velocity and volume to move leaves and small branches. (In contrast with a "feather lite" brand that an anemic asthmatic could out blow). In the vacuum mode it did an excellent job of picking up and mulching leaves.

My only complaint is the emptying of the bag requires removing the bag from the unit and the exhaust burned a small hole in the bag because of the proximity of the bag attachment and exhaust port. I adjusted the way I held it in vacuum mode and the exhaust doesn't come close to the bag anymore

Hard to syart when cold. Vacuum attachment is finicky. Powerful motor and well built otherwise. Best value for money especially with metal turbine vanes.

LOTS OF POWER--BUT TUBE NEEDS TO BE ATTACHED DIFFERENTLY---COMES OFF VERY EASILY---SO WE ATTACHED IT WITH SCREWS---THEN IT WAS GREAT.

Disappointed at how the tubes connect -- very cheap. Don't stay together well.

Vacuum doesn't have great suction. Very, very small branches block the patch.

Stupid design to connect the vacuum tubes with screws that point inward. Debri gets stuck on those.
